Burma Shave 'Spotted' Bayliss
It was love at first sight--- the resulting puppies were Spotted too!
As an artist-- I love COLOR... but we were sure blinded by a whole litter of PINK puppies!
Left- sire RaintreEZ Burma Shave (12 pts, 1 major) at 7 years
Right- dam Ch Bayshore Raincheck at 9 mos.
At
birth, the puppies were all VERY pink.
As the puppies
grew, they began to grow spots like their daddy, who was also born Pink. (Actually- under
her whitest Puff coat- Mom also has pink spotted skin.) Here are 'the kidz' at 3
weeks- spots are growing as much as
the pups.
Below is "Mikey"--
Mr. Big Shot- first out of the whelping box, first to eat solid food, first to
climb stairs and first to brave the 'new world', inspecting every inch of
the yard, and discovering a bunny nest... I don't know who was more surprised.
Mikey is neutered and ready for a new home. Mikey is #2 puppy in the photo
above.
Annikka is a true hairless female, full of
vinegar and still growing spots. She is ready for a loving new home, she is Puppy #4 in
the photo above.
"LuLu' is #3 in the photo above- born with
only one small spot above her left eye, she looks like she'll be the
darkest of the 4 - almost solid in color.
Lulu has already moved to her new home,
sharing space with 3 other Cresteds, including 'auntie' WU (
Burma's sis), some KATS, a parrot, a fish-- wow, and she gets to go see the
horses occasionally too. This will probably be the last time you'll ever see what she really looks
like... 'mom' Vicki insists on dressing the hairless all year 'round,
likes'm Natural with hairy faces, and feeds them until they
'OINK', but ya couldn't ask for a better more loving home.(Wonder if NOW she'll take the HINT?)
